My jumper is nearly done now. I just need to do the hem and it will be ready to wear. I stopped on it for a bit because I wasn't sure I liked it as much as I thought I would. I am pretty happy with it now though I have the buttonholes and buttons done and it doesn't look so bad on me.

This picture of course doesn't do it justice at all. I tried it on with another blouse I have to see if it would go with it but I think the vneck doesn't quite work but it does look good with the white. I put it on with my other 2 blouses and two totally different looks which is cool the old blouse with the big collar is all prissy looking and then the romantic blouse with short sleeves gives it a bit more modern look. I just hope I feel comfortable wearing it.

Hi Suzanne! I found your site through Sense and Sensibility. I asked about an Edwardian corset pattern and found you! Your jumper looks great - have you done anymore sewing lately? I'm going to try my hand at the 1914 Afternoon Dress.
I haven't done anymore sewing since I finished my jumper. I went on vacation and since I have been back I did get my edwardian corset pattern but I started making some bobbinlace instead. I will probably work on the corset when it isn't so warm. I don't have the 1914 dress but I do have the 1910s dress and I am planning on making it for my wedding dress. You can check out my other blog it is listed on the first page of this one under wedding dress. I haven't updated that one lately either since I haven't done anything on it. Keep in touch tell me how it goes.
